Directions to Meadowlark Guest House in Olga on Orcas Island
Follow traffic off ferry to the left up orcas road, about 8 miles, to town of Eastsound. Watch for deer on or near the road. As you approach eastsound, the road divides. stay to the right and go through town on main street. Continue on main street past eastsound along Crescent Beach to dead end at top of hill. (there will be a large filling station on your left) turn right onto Olga road and stay on it as you drive through Moran State Park,about 6 miles from Eastsound, and on to Olga which is 2 miles beyond Moran State Park. The Olga Cafe/Orcas Artworks building is on your left at the bottom of a long gentle hill the main road goes left there on to Pt. Lawrence Road. You will make this turn on to Pt. Lawrence Road and go down a small hill with Buck Bay on your right. stay on Pt. Lawrence Road as it makes a sharp left. up a small hill. Shortly you will see my black mailbox “Wheeler 444”, on the right side of the road my driveway is 4/10 mile from the artworks turn onto Pt. Lawrence Road. At my mailbox, turn down the long center driveway with basketball hoop at the end. Park by the guest house, which is on your left. go up the steps by the apple tree. Door will be open. Go in and make yourself comfortable. if staying in the garden room, which is to the right, please park by the basketball hoop or in front of the garage door.Be sure to bring your food with you. There is a great supermarket in Eastsound, but only a small store in Olga. |
